COST OF LIVING ASSISTANCE (BSH)
This financial aid, RM300 per month, is managed by the Department of Veterans Affairs (JHEV) under the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM).
Yes, this special aid is exclusively for ATM veterans.
The primary goal of this program is to alleviate the financial burden of ATM veterans who have dedicated their lives to protecting the people and the country.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Below are the eligibility criteria for applying for this special assistance:
- Malaysian Citizen.
- ATM Veteran.
- Aged 60 years and above.
- Former permanent member of the Malaysian Armed Forces.
- Former member of the 136 team or a full-time member of the Territorial Army.
- Widows who remarry are not eligible to apply.
- Not dismissed due to disciplinary actions.
- Experiencing health issues or illnesses that affect employment (a verification letter from a government medical officer is required).
- Orphans must be aged 18–21 if still studying, while no age limit applies to children with permanent disabilities.
- Any other conditions may be considered based on merit.
