About Child Foster Care Aid (BAP)
The BAP program aims to assist disadvantaged children, orphans, and children without immediate family members, allowing them to remain within a community environment with foster families.
Additionally, this aid is intended to ease the financial burden of foster families who are committed to caring for these children as their own.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for this assistance:
- Families currently caring for children:
- Children under 18 years old.
- Children without parents.
- Children who are not officially adopted under the Adoption Act 1952 or Registration of Adoptions Act 1952.
- Children under foster family arrangements:
- Taken in through the “Child Foster Program” managed by JKM.
- Cared for under a court order in accordance with the Child Act 2001.
Aid Amount
- Minimum: RM250 per month per child.
- Maximum: RM500 per month per family caring for two or more children.
