Monsoon Season Aid (BMT): RM200 Monthly for Four Months

As in previous years, the Monsoon Season Aid (Bantuan Musim Tengkujuh, BMT) has reopened for applications. The payments for BMT 2024 are set to begin soon.


Total Aid Amount: RM800

This financial aid is provided specifically to rubber smallholders, with the amount increased by the government to RM800.

The government, through RISDA, ensures the welfare of smallholders is protected and will monitor the implementation to ensure no smallholder is left behind.


Increased Aid Amount

Since 2023, the BMT amount has been increased from RM600 to RM800 to better assist smallholders affected by the monsoon season.

  • Payment Details:
    • RM200 per month, starting from November to February.

Application Period

Applications for the November 2024, December 2024, January 2025, and February 2025 payments are open from 1 June to 29 September.

Eligibility Criteria

The BMT program is specifically for rubber smallholders under RISDA’s supervision.

For Smallholders:

  1. Must participate in RISDA’s replanting program or not be under any agency.
  2. Required documents:
    • Original MyKad and a copy.
    • Original land grant and a copy.
    • Copy of an active bank account book or statement.

For Non-Owner Rubber Tappers:

  1. Additional supporting documents:
    • Original MyKad and a copy.
    • Copy of the landowner’s MyKad.
    • Copy of the land grant for the tapped lot.
    • Copy of an active bank account book.
    • Valid PAT-G card or activation slip.
    • Verification letter from the landowner or authorized representative.
