SARA Payment Schedule Until the End – Additional RM1,200 STR Assistance
The Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) 2024 provides an additional RM1,200 in assistance to eligible recipients. This amount is credited into MyKad accounts starting in 2024.
Compared to the previous year, SARA 2024 offers an increased financial aid amount for recipients.

📢 Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the SARA program will continue in 2024 as part of Budget 2024, which was presented in October 2023.
📌 Key Changes:
✅ Aid increased from RM600 to RM1,200 per recipient.
Redemption & Payment Method
📌 Total Assistance: RM1,200
✅ Paid as RM100 per month over 12 months.
📌 How is the aid received?
✅ Peninsular Malaysia recipients → RM100 credited to MyKad each month.
✅ Recipients in Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan → Cash payments (lump sum) in February and August 2024.

SARA 2024 Payment Schedule
The payment schedule is divided into two categories:
1️⃣ Peninsular Malaysia Recipients
- RM100 per month, credited via MyKad.
2️⃣ Sabah, Sarawak & Labuan Recipients
- Cash payments provided in February & August 2024.
SARA 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Not all STR 2024 household recipients qualify for SARA additional assistance. Below are the eligible categories:
✅ Hardcore poor households (Miskin Tegar).
✅ Monthly income of RM1,169 or below.
✅ STR 2023 recipients.
✅ No age limit.
✅ Registered under e-Kasih.
📢 If you belong to the hardcore poor category and are registered under e-Kasih, you are eligible for SARA 2024 assistance.
Payment Start Date
📌 April 2024 payments have started for eligible recipients.
📌 June 2024 payments will begin at the start of the month.
